Principal – Private Equity Practice | Boutique Strategy Consultancy | US (Houston, DC, New York, Chicago)
Consulting Point is delighted to be partnering with a high-growth boutique strategy consultancy in the US, supporting the expansion of their Private Equity Practice.
This is a unique opportunity for experienced strategy consultants to join a firm that combines the calibre of global strategy houses with the culture and autonomy of a true boutique. The firm has built a reputation for excellence in commercial due diligence and growth strategy, with a client base that includes leading private equity firms and ambitious portfolio companies.

What You’ll Do
Lead and deliver engagements across buy-side and sell-side due diligence, growth strategy, and value creation
Build trusted relationships with private equity clients and portfolio executives
Mentor and develop junior consultants while collaborating with senior leadership
Contribute to internal knowledge development and firm growth initiatives
What We’re Looking For
6–12 years’ experience in a strategy consultancy or a blend of consulting and PE/portfolio experience
Proven ability to lead and deliver PE-related projects from start to finish
Strong analytical mindset, commercial acumen, and structured problem-solving skills
Exposure to financial modelling, market and customer research, and insight synthesis
Academic excellence in disciplines such as Economics, Finance, Engineering or Data Science
Based in or open to relocating to Houston, Washington DC, New York, or Chicago
