On behalf of a leading global consulting firm, we are currently seeking an exceptional Director-level Insurance Consulting professional to lead and grow their practice focused on the Commercial, Specialty, London Markets & Lloyd’s of London segments.

This is a unique opportunity for a proven leader with deep industry knowledge to shape and deliver large-scale management consulting and transformation programmes across some of the most prestigious names in the insurance market.

As Director, you will spearhead strategic engagements across business and digital transformation, insurtech advisory, operating model redesign, and change management, while also playing a key role in driving business development with a sales target of £2–3 million per annum.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and grow the Insurance Consulting practice within the Commercial and London Market segment.
Own and deliver complex consulting engagements, ranging from strategy, operating model design, and business transformation to digital innovation and technology advisory.
Act as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders across insurers, MGAs, syndicates, and brokers.
Work across key domains including insurtech, automation, digital distribution, underwriting transformation, claims optimisation, and more.
Drive revenue through proactive business development, building a robust pipeline and converting opportunities into delivery with a £2M–£3M annual sales target.
Build and nurture senior client relationships across the Lloyd's and London Market ecosystem.
Manage and mentor consulting teams, ensuring high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
Collaborate with internal capability teams, product developers, and sector specialists to bring innovative solutions to market.

Key Requirements
Proven track record of operating at Director level (or equivalent) in a consulting environment or an advisory-led role within an insurer or broker.
Deep knowledge of the London Market and Lloyd’s ecosystem, with strong relationships across the market.
Demonstrable experience in delivering complex transformation programmes, ideally with a blend of business, digital, and technology change.
A strategic thinker with commercial acumen, strong leadership presence, and client gravitas.
Strong business development experience with a track record of hitting or exceeding multimillion-pound revenue targets.
Expertise in operating models, change management, digital enablement, innovation strategy, or insurtech ecosystems will be highly advantageous.
Strong academic background, ideally with relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACII, MBA, Prince2, Agile, etc.).
