An international management consultancy with a headquarters in Paris is seeking a Director to lead and grow its Italian presence. The firm specialises in advising medium-sized companies and corporate divisions on comprehensive business transformation and digitisation. Their core verticals include Retail, Consumer Goods, Luxury, Industrials, and Distribution.
This is a high-visibility leadership role requiring a blend of strategic delivery, business development, and team leadership. The successful candidate will lead complex transformation workstreams and drive the firm’s growth within the Italian market.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end business transformation and digitisation programmes for clients across Retail, Luxury, and Industrials.
Act as a key representative for the firm in Italy, managing senior stakeholder relationships.
Drive operational excellence initiatives and deliver high-impact strategic advice.
Collaborate with international offices to ensure cross-border project success.
Mentor and develop a high-performing team of consultants.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must possess a strong consulting pedigree and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, international environment.
Experience: A minimum of 10 years of professional experience within a top-tier strategy consultancy or a Fortune 100 in-house strategy department.
Education: An excellent academic degree from a leading university.
Languages: Native or professional fluency in Italian, French, and English is essential.
Domain Expertise: A proven track record in Business Transformation, Digitisation, or Operational Excellence.
Mobility: High level of flexibility and willingness to travel internationally.
Technical and Soft Skills
Strong analytical and technical skills.
A collaborative mindset with the drive to lead workstreams and end-to-end delivery.
The ability to represent the firm at a senior level within the Italian market.
Compensation and Benefits
Base Salary: €150,000 per annum.
Bonus: A flexible performance-related bonus ranging from €40,000 to €80,000.
