A leading boutique IT strategy and transformation consultancy is seeking a delivery-led Principal Consultant to join its UK practice. This firm specialises in high-impact engagements, working directly with CIOs and CTOs of large-scale organisations to navigate complex technology change.

The position requires a specialist in IT programme management with a proven track record of leading significant technology workstreams, systems implementations, or infrastructure transitions. As a Principal Consultant, you will operate with high levels of autonomy, managing significant budgets and maintaining a credible presence among senior stakeholders. This is a hands-on delivery role rather than a purely administrative PMO function, suited to those who enjoy ownership of client outcomes and a collaborative, relationship-led culture.

The successful candidate will likely have between eight and twelve years of experience within a management consultancy or a complex client-side delivery environment. Experience at a Tier-One firm or a specialist boutique is highly valued, particularly if you are looking to move away from internal politics in favour of pragmatic, solution-oriented delivery. Professional proficiency in Prince2, Agile, or PMP frameworks is expected.

The firm offers a predominantly home-based working model with fully expensed travel to client sites and head office locations.
